Lila's visit to Chloe's house

Lila and Chloe love each other, I promise even though some of these pictures may make you think differently. I went home for a week while I was off work to visit friends and family and let Sean work a little! Some how I managed to not get any pictures other than the ones of the dog. I did get a few extras on my phone and if I can figure out how to get them to my computer this week, I will add them! I started by leaving Waco on Sunday morning and heading into Needville to stay with my Aunt & Uncle and visit with my Dad! Soon after I got there my Aunt and I went into Wharton to visit my Granny in the nursing home who has Alzheimer's. It was hard, but I was glad I got to see her! I stayed with them that night and went on into El Campo on Monday to have lunch with Dana, my babysitter when I was an infant. Then headed over to the Peery's to visit my boys that I used to watch. I had a wonderful dinner with them and their family and got some hang out time with their mom, my friend Holly! That night I drove on into Victoria to Sean's parents to stay the rest of the week. I filled my week with lunches and dinners with old friends that I hadn't seen in a while! I really enjoyed my week, and as you can see, so did Lila. She was exhausted for our trip home on Saturday!

Lila and Chloe go at it!

They love going after each other for a toy or bone.

Give me that bone!

Chloe loves rolling onto her back!

Lila doesn't bark often, we hardly hear her, but she loved barking at Chloe! SO funny and cute!

4 months preggers!

So this marks month 4, 16 weeks! So loving pregnancy for the most part! We are doing well and continuing to grow. As you can see, it is more noticeable from the front now. Since these pictures were taken I have started to feel Baby U, this happened at 17 1/2 weeks on Monday, September 28th although I wasn't sure until Tuesday the 29th when it started being an acrobat in my tummy! I know I only have more to come in my future!

Our friends John and Sarah came in from Canada for a conference for his Orthodontic practice, but they came in a week early and hung out with us! We saw a couple movies together and did lots of shopping and eating together. I don't think I cooked one meal besides breakfasts! It was crazy! We had a fabulous time together!

Chicago

After leaving Hoopeston, we went on into Chicago for a couple days! Sean's cousin Brett and his wife Teresa picked us up from the car rental place with their 4 girls and we spent the day together! We headed out to the Navy Pier and made an afternoon of it! We had lunch together and walked around. Rode the Ferris Wheel and other rides out there and did a little shopping! We had a blast with you guys! From there they took us to our hotel where Sean's friend Ryan Olson picked us up later to go get our tickets to the 1st Pearl Jam concert. We had dinner with him and his girlfriend Kara and went on to Pearl Jam-12th row on left side of the stage! It was awesome! The next day we ate Gino's East Chicago Style Pizza and sightseed on a boat tour that took us down the Chicago river and out into Lake Michigan. We really like these tours in different cities. That night I hung out with Kara and their dog Hedy while the boys went to PJ #2. It was a great mini-vacation!

Trip to Hoopeston,IL to see Grandma & Grandpa Urich

Towards the end of August Sean and I took a trip to Hoopeston to see Sean's Grandparents. It was a hard trip, but we had many good times. Sean's Grandpa has been sick for a while and we traveled up to see him knowing that it may be our last time. Sean had many evenings talking to Carter and hearing old stories. We showed him pictures of Baby U who we think may be a boy in which we would be naming him after Carter, Sean's Grandpa. He touched my belly the night before we left and really enjoyed knowing that he was so close to his first grandchild from us. Sadly 3 weeks after we left on Sept. 11, 2009 Carter passed away. We traveled back up for the funeral. I rode up with Sean's parents and Sister Holly by car and Sean met us there by airplane. It was a nice service for an amazing man! He was such a sweet soul that loved his family dearly! I will include a tribute in a separate post that Sean's sister Holly created!

Baby Urich @ 10 1/2 weeks

Today was our 2nd ultrasound to see Baby Urich and we were so excited! And boy was he active. When we started the ultrasound he was very active and had a heart rate of 190bpm. Towards the end when he went into a resting state it was down to 162 bpm. He was so precious! And the reason some may ask we are saying he... We did Intelligender which is an at home gender test that is 82% accurate and the results were boy. We do know that this can definitely change so we are not totally vested in it. But for now, we are calling him Carter. If things change in a couple months, then we will start calling her Ella. The great thing is, the ears aren't developed yet so they won't even know! :)

Overall, this has been such a great pregnancy so far! I have felt great on most days and the days that aren't so great just have a little bit of upset stomach. So I feel very blessed so far in this pregnancy. We will be 11 weeks on Thursday of this week! So 1st trimester is almost over! Can't wait!

He is on his tummy here and what a big belly it is.

This one he is laying on left side facing the camera and is waving with his left hand! So precious.

This one you can see he is laying on his left but kinda on his back too so you can see all 4 limbs.
